Sing Out Choir is an inclusive choir set up for adults with autism, learning disabilities or any additional needs, although the choir is open to anybody who loves to sing! Directed by Camilla Farrant, the choir takes place during term time and has three concerts per year, as well as performing at community events and private functions.
We are run in collaboration with One-to-One Enfield, an incredible member-led organisation who provide activities and events for adults with autism and learning disabilities all over the London Borough of Enfield. See below for details of our rehearsals and see the News section of our home page to find out about upcoming concerts. Also check out details of our children's choir. |
My son was very wary of new people, but now he happily sings in front of huge audiences full of unfamiliar people. We're so pleased with the change in his quality of life! |
WHEN & WHERE DO WE REHEARSE?
We rehearse on Mondays between 10:30am and 12pm at Enfield Baptist Church, very close to Enfield Town. There is a large car park at the church, it is fully wheelchair accessible and has excellent transport links all around Enfield.
For those who are not members of One to One Enfield, there is a small fee per session, or you can pay termly or yearly. Do get in touch with One to One to find out more about your payment options.
We have breaks during Christmas, Easter and part of the Summer holidays, so you are welcome to contact Fiona at One-to-One on 020 8373 6241 or via email if you want to talk to someone about coming to a rehearsal. Or contact choir director Camilla directly via email. Please note that Camilla is currently on maternity leave until Sept 2024, so the choir is being run by Pete Desmond.

LOCKDOWN VIDEOS
Sing Out Choir have continued to sing together throughout the Covid-19 pandemic with video rehearsals every week and sing-a-long videos on Facebook every other day. But not everyone can access the internet, so as soon as we were able, we made doorstep visits to record Sing Out Choir singing our favourite song, Hey Jude. Have a listen to the video on YouTube below!
Our Christmas Concert was filmed in November 2021 without an audience. A Christmas video was released daily on our Facebook page on the run up to Christmas, culminating in this collaboration for Moody's EnAble. Here's All I want for Christmas is you!
